Yxng Bane and Not3s are the next heroes of the UK rap and afrobeats scenes

Infusing R&B, grime, drill, Afropop, and dancehall into his sound, 21-year-old East London rapper Yxng Bane is one of Britain’s most promising upcoming MC’s. Following the earlier release of his  collaboration with Maleek Berry on ‘ Corner , we took a look at the rapper ‘s background, which is not doubtful to his diverse sound. In the video, the British rapper is shown traveling to Lagos, a sure sign that UK rap and Afrobeats are now more closely related than many might think.

Directed by KLDVR & G FrSH , the simple yet superbly styled visuals for the bouncy summer release sees various versions of the 21-year-old singing while being surrounded by the usual suspects of the good life; women and cars.

Another newcomer making waves is Not3s, another MC  from East London who is bringing sounds from Africa, the Caribbean and the streets of England to the masses. After a busy 2017 which saw the release of his first EP ‘ Take Not3s’ , and a notable collaboration with London’s pop singer Mabel on the song ‘Fine Line’ the British rapper is showing no signs of slowing down and is back with two banging releases Namely ‘Sit Back Down’ qui features Mallek Berry well as the downtempo track  ‘M3 Not You’ .
